What part of the design do I stitch?
We give enough thread for you to be able to stitch the printed image. The white space outside the printed area is intended to make the canvas easier to stitch without practice bars, but feel free to use this part if you so desire.
What thread do you use for the full kits?
We use a mixture of DMC and Airo six-strand cotton embroidery floss. We make sure not to give you different sources for the same color so that way your stitching remains consistent.
How much time does each design take?
While the time can depend on how many colors, generally we find the pacing for continental stitching to be about 30 minutes per square inch, although this can vary based on experience level.
How many strands of thread do I separate?
We would advise not separating any strands of thread as the full thread provides the necessary coverage.
Are these canvases printed or painted?
Our canvases are printed.
